Teaser Tuesday asks you to:
Grab your current read.
Let the book fall open to a random page.
Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
Please avoid spoilers!
"The Aztlan was smoky, cavernous, ill lighted, occupied almost exclusively by Hispanic men whose eyes, at that hour, were turning slippery from all the alcohol they'd consumed. The laughter came in constant, raucous bursts that were sly and assaultive, very worrisome."

I love this series, I can't wait til U comes out.
I've loved Grafton's alphabet series too. I'm ready to go back and re-read some of them just for the fun of it. Hope you are enjoying.
One of these days I'll have to start this series.
I second stacybuckeye! I haven't gotten around to it either... I think I'm waiting for the alphabet to finish :D
Great teaser! What are you doing in a bar with slippery eyes and worrisome laughter?
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Boy, these don't sound like any characters I would like to encounter! Thanks for the teaser.
Add me to the list of those who need to get started on this list at point!
Can you read this series out of order or should I start with A?
Everyone should read this series! I just started with A in January and I am loving them. And you can read them out of order but I am too obsessive-compulsive to do that.
Personally I think you SHOULDN'T read these out of order, not only because I think that normally, which I do (if the author wrote it that way, I feel you should read it that way, to me it's like reading chapter 4, then 1, then 6, etc.) but because these ones refer to past events that happen in the previous books. Okay, rant over :P
Wow, great description in that teaser! Does Sue Grafton write poetry too, loving that slippery eyes image...
I've never heard of this series - exactly how far along in the alphabet has the author gotten? I like the "slippery eyes" description.
Erika!
I'm the blog owner that was supposed to ship you your copy of Eyes Like Stars and I apologize for not getting it out yet!
I'm going to ship it to you via UPS tomorrow! I promise! And here's this to tease you with:
A French Patisserie landed Center Stage, all gleaming wood and sparkling glass. The fairies followed her inside with screams of delight, lured by the intoxicating scents of buttery pastry and caffe lattes. Bertie lolled against the marble counter and admired the copper behemoth of an espresso machine. (page 155 of the ARC)

Very intense!
Here's my Teaser! ~ Wendi
Slippery eyes?? Worrisome laughter? Sounds a tad creepy, but a great choice for a teaser.
*smiles*

I haven't read any book in the series! I'm wary of series because if I get hooked on one, there goes the rest of my money! LOL!
Great teaser!
This is a really good teaser. I haven't read this series though.
