Teaser Tuesday - Charmed Thirds

Teaser Tuesday asks you to:

Grab your current read.
Let the book fall open to a random page.
Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
Please avoid spoilers!

"I know this is all true. And yet, it bothered me now, as it bothered me then: Why did I have to hear about these things through a third party? Why hadn't Marcus ever said any of these things to me?"

Awesome teaser - and so easy to relate to! I cannot say that I have not done the third-party route, but most of the time it's the first-party route (where I don't say anything at all and keep it to myself)!

I have to start this series at some point!

'Rosay, do you know something?' she asked. 'No, no,' Rosay said quickly. 'Well, there is just one thing...'

It still to this day, after being out of school for over 25 years, makes my stomach drop to hear that other people have been talking about me. I will read this book, I have to know.

I should buy the rest of the series... but I am just too lazy, LOL. Awesome teaser and I can't wait to see what you think about it!
